Biography

Homer was born on July 20, 1904, in Lowell, Massachusetts, the son of Eugene Briere and Albina Dufresne. ^[1] Though it is not clear whether he was deaf at birth or whether this occurred in early childhood, he was deaf and lived with his mother the majority of his life. ^[2]. He did not marry and did not have any known children.

He passed away on October 16, 1985, in Windham, Connecticut.^[3] He is buried in Saint Joseph Cemetery, Willimantic, Windham, Connecticut. ^[4]
