Richard John was born in 1889. He was the son of Richard Hagan and Mary Pearson. [1] He married Myrtle May Taylor in 1912 [2]. It was the first wedding in the new building of the Methodist Church in Te Horo. He passed away in 1968, age 79

There were two Richard John Hagan's of similar age in NZ at this time. The other was 1885-1949. The other married Margaret McMillan Wells in 1915 (regn 1915/14432 )
