Julia Dinsmore was born on May 05, 1886 in Morgan, Alabama, United States. Her parents were Charles Dinsmore and Martha Turney. She was the third of five children.

She married sometime between the 1900 census and the death of her brother, Dr. William Madison Dinsmore, in April 1923. In that obituary, she is listed as Mrs. Edna Dinsmore Morris.^[1] In the March 1929 obituary of her father, Charles T. Dinsmore, she is listed as Mrs. H. G. Morris.^[2] In the 1930 Census, her status is listed as widowed. Her occupation is listed as travel nurse.
