Mathias Coates was born in 1774.
In 1810 he was residing in Pennsylvania. [1]
He passed away in 1816.
Parents
The parents of Mathias are NOT John Coate and Millicent Mapes as per YDNA results as previously theorized.[2]
His marriage record names him as Mathias Kurtz. A descendant's DNA test confirms a Kurtz lineage
