Baby was thought to have been born about 1871, the child of Jacob Erratt and Paulina Wickwire. This child passed away in infancy.
In the interest of preventing duplicates, I have gone with the dates listed on this person’s Findagrave profile. It claimed that there were twin sons born to this couple on 20 Mar 1871, who were not present by the 1871 census a few months later. However, all that the headstone itself says about these unnamed children is “and two children who died in infancy.”
FamilySearch agrees with the birthdate and gender listed here for both boys, but claims one of the two boys was named Jacob lived slightly longer. There are no sources listed on either profile.
All that is known for sure at this time is that there were three children born to this couple sometime between their marriage in 1870 and the wife’s death in 1877. The daughter’s name and dates of birth and death are known; the other two children were mentioned on the same headstone, but that’s it. So we know they both existed and both died in infancy. More precise information may come to light about one or both children. If found, it is entirely possible that the listed name and possibly even the dates will need to change.
