Biography
Birth
Alonvile Thomas was born in 1856, Annapolis, Annapolis county, Nova Scotia to parents Joseph and Mary Elizabeth (DeLong) Thomas. [1]
Relocation from Annapolis, Nova Scotia to the United States
Due to family illness and the need for warmer weather Joseph's family relocated through Boston, Massachusetts to Starke, Bradford county, Florida, United States. Some of his family members settled immediately at Quincy, Massachusetts and others decided to return to Quincy after the Starke resettlement. [2]
Death
As with his brother Joseph Burton Thomas, Alonvill never married, passing away in 1879 at the age of 23 years. He was buried with other family members at the Crosby Lake Cemetery in Starke. His gravestone image can be viewed at his Find-A-Grave memorial.[3]
