Ludwig Aloys, son of LUDWIG LEOPOLD Fst zu Hohenlohe-Bartenstein and Polyxena Gfn von Limburg-Stirum, was their eldest surviving son and became Prince of Hohenlohe-Bartenstein when his father died in 1799. He was born in Bartenstein in 18 Aug 1765. He married Franziska Wilhelmina Augusta Gfn von Manderscheid-Blankenheim on 18 Nov 1786 and had one child
After her death in 1789 he married Maria Creszentia Altgfn zu Salm-Reifferscheidt in 1790, and had two daughters
He died in Paris on 31 May 1827.
