Biography
Mary was the daughter of John Cayley and Mary Cartwright. She was baptised at Cowfold, Sussex, England on 6 July 1862[1]
The 1871 Canada census lists Mary at Whitby, Ontario, age 8, with her birthplace as Ontario which may be a mistake in view of were she was baptised.[2]
Mary's death, age 64, was registered in Hastings, Sussex, England in the 3rd quarter of 1926. According to Burke's Peerage, she died on 3 August 1926.[3][4]
