Charles "Tom" Carver Died June 18, 1991

Charles "Tom" Carver, 65, of Englewood, died Tuesday evening at Woods Memorial Hospital following a lingering illness.

A native of Bradley County and resident of Englewood most of his life, he was a member of the Dixon Avenue Baptist Church, and was preceded in death by his parents, Clint and Elizabeth Buckner Carver.

Survivors include his wife, Willene Carver, two daughters, Linda Sue Duckett and Judy Mason; son, Charles Carver, all of Englewood; seven grandchildren; two brothers, J.R. Carver and Doyle Ralph Carver, both of Englewood; and several nieces, nephews, aunts and uncles.

Funeral services will be 2 p.m. Friday in the chapel of Bordwine Funeral Home with the Revs. Alan Watson and Frank Kincannon officiating. Burial will be at Mars Hill Cemetery.

The family will receive friends from 6 until 9 Thursday evening at the funeral home.
