Mrs. Essie Carver Land Died December 2, 1986

Mrs. Essie Carver Land, 78, of Englewood Route 1 died Tuesday morning at her home.

A native of Monroe county she lived in McMinn County for four years. She was of the Baptist faith.

Survivors include three sons, Tom, Junior and Ralph Carver, all of Englewood; step-daughter, Beulah Land of Englewood; six grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; three sisters, Minnie Cole of Etowah; Cora Holcomb and Thelma Cole, both of Englewood; three brothers, Ralph and Lloyd Buckner, both of Mount Vernon; and Arthur Buckner of Middletown, Ohio; and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be 2 p.m. Thursday in the chapel of Bordwine Funeral Home with the Revs. Larry Coleman and Frank Kincannon officiating. Burial will be at Mars Hill Cemetery.
