Biography
Newton was the son of Alexander Rice and Sarah Jones. He was raised in Independence, Allegany, New York.[1] He married Louisa Dolbee about 1860. Their children were:
- Ernest D Rice 1861–1925
The family moved to Oswayo, Potter, Pennsylvania. [2] Newton died in 1908 [3] and is buried in Wells Cemetery Oswayo, Potter County, Pennsylvania.[4]
