Biography

Included "Hughann" as a possible nickname. On the 1910 Census, Annie is listed as "Hugh A Simmons" however, the writing is slightly obscured, so we are unable to discern for certain if the word prior to A is "Hugh." Many family trees list her as "Hughann Manness Simmons," but we were unable to find any other instances that would indicate her first name was anything other than Annie. If someone has a reputable source that verifies her name as Hughann, we'll be happy to reflect that here.
