Biography

First husband of Jennie Casey (1880–1949), two daughters ID'ed by Family Search but they are the same person Dorothy Antoinette (Pearl) Therriault (1899–1962).

Anthoine Theriantt (male 34 y.o.) was recorded in the 1900 U.S. Census, residing in Tobacco Plains Township, Flathead, Montana, with wife Jennie Theriantt (F 20) and dau Pearle Theriantt (F 5 mo). Anthoine was born in Maine, Jennie in Arkansas and Pearle in Montana; Anthoine was a farmer, Jennie was a housewife, and they had been married 2 years.

"Many friends of Antoine Therriault are mourning his sudden death. His noble character and sunny, buoyant nature endeared him to all. .... To the wife and baby now journeying the dreary road from Tobacco, no words can convey the infinite sadness of their loss. Antoine Therriault was born in Maine 35 years ago. "One of the largest funeral ever seen in Kalispell was that of Antoine Therriault last Wednesday. The funeral was conducted under the auspices of the Modern Woodmen of America. Antoine Therriault died suddenly of heart failure, at Tobacco Plains, and was brought to this city for burial." (ibid, 10 Nov 1900)
