Biography

Nils Olof was born in Hille 12 April 1910 to Carl Johan Hedfors and his second wife Elin Maria Ingman. He went to America in June 1912 with his mother, to join his father who was there since 1911.^[1]

At the time of the census 1920 Carl J Hedfors was a carloader in Minneapolis. His wife Ellen was a chocolate dipper in a candy factory, while the children, Ellen, Erick and Olaf, presumably still were at school.^[2]

By the time of the census 1930 they have changed their family name to Hedford.^[3]

Olof Nels Hedford was married to Alma Westerdahl and had two sons.^[4][5]

Olaf Nels Hedford, born 12 April 1910, died in Multnomah, Oregon 22 january 1994. ^[6][7]
