Jane was born in 1845. She was the daughter of Alexander Mulholland and Mary Sanderson. She passed away in 1933.
Mary Mulholland was born to Alexander Mulholland and Mary Sanderson in about 1846 in Cumberland, England (estimated from details recorded on her arrival in NSW as a 6-year old Assisted Immigrant in July, 1852[1]).
A 'Mary Mulholland' married a 'Charles Withers' in Armidale in 1864[2]. A birth of a son James was registered to parents Charles and Mary Withers in Armidale in 1866, followed by four further Withers births in Armidale to a mother Mary but with no father being included in the registrations[3]:
It is uncertain who or which this Mary Mulholland/Withers was and what happened to Charles Withers and to the Withers children registered in Armidale to 'Mary Withers'.
Mary married Samuel McCrossin, son of James and Margaret McCrossin in 1872, the marriage registered at Armidale, NSW[4].
They had children[5]:
Mary died in October, 1933[6], her death registered at Tenterfield, NSW[7] and she is buried with her husband in Drake cemetery[8].
Note: McCrossins and Mulhollands: Mary Mulholland and her sister Marion Argyle Mulholland married cousins Samuel and William Samuel McCrossin, both in 1872, both registered in Armidale, NSW. Assignment of children in their Profiles to these couples should be considered uncertain.
