Biography
Sarah (McDamon) Moody is a part of US Black heritage.
Sarah was born in 1838 in Tennessee, the daughter of Robert McDamon and Caroline Mitchell.
In the 1870 census Sarah (age 31), keeping house, was in Maple Grove, Barry, Michigan.[1]
In the 1880 census Sarah (age 41), washer woman, was the wife of Robert Moody in Peoria, Peoria, Illinois, United States.[2]
In the 1910 census Sarah (age 72) was the wife of Robert Moody in La Prairie, Marshall, Illinois, United States.[3]
She passed away in 1927.[4] and is buried at Olio Township Cemetery in Eureka, Woodford County, Illinois.[5]
