Lloyd Houstin, born 13 August 1908; died 21 April 1972 at. Hayti, Missouri. Married Miss Sadie Lee Mitchell who. was living 1976, in Miami, Florida. No Children.

Lloyd Houston Hitt, 63, former resident of Caruthersville and Hayti, died at his home in Homestead, Fla., Friday, April 21, and his funeral was held Tuesday afternoon in the John W. German Funeral Home at Hayti with Dr. Don Enright officiating. Burial was in Woodlawn Cemetery. He was born August 13, 1908, at Diamond, Mo., the son of Daniel and Mary Ellen Hitt. A public accountant by profession, he and his wife lived in Caruthersville for several years when he was manager of Ark-Mo Power Company here. He was a veteran of World War II, having served in the U.S. Navy, and was a member of First United Methodist Church of Homestead. He was married to the former Miss Sadie Lee Mitchell at Blytheville on September 25, 1932. He leaves his wife, Mrs. Sadie Lee Hitt of the home in Homestead; four brothers, Elmer Hitt of Arlington, Texas, Robert Hitt of Messina, Iowa, Fred and Warren Hitt of Dallas, Texas; and two sisters, Mrs. Mabel Gordon of Albuquerque, N.M. and Mrs. Lila Boehning of Seneca, Mo. Democrat Argus - Caruthersville, Missouri - April 27, 1972.

Buried 24 APR 1972. Hayti, Pemiscot, Missouri, United States.
