Biography

Brigadier General Frank Sheldon Clark was born in 1885 in Massachusetts. He was smart but didn't like school and left before graduating. He applied himself by studying his interests and took a military apptitude test qualifying him for Officer Training School. He served in California, Phillipines, Australia, France and aboard Troop Transport ships during World Wars I and II. He married Lena May (also) Clark in 1909 and sadly they lost 3 children. Lena passed suddenly in 1958 and Uncle Frank lived until 1975 in North Carolina where he to made his transformation to the other side. Frank S Clark wrote a tribute book about his wife Lena May Clark, inscribing it and gifting it to family and friends. They are buried together at Arlington National Cemetery.
