Biography

Georg was born in 1728. He is the son of Lorenz Bank and Maria Birchenmayer from Zarten.[1]

On 19 January 1751 he married widow Maria Agatha Hensler née Ochsner in Bleichheim,[2] about 35 km away from home. The couple had at least six children.[3]

He passed away on 1 July 1777 and was buried in Bleichheim.[4]

Research notes

The wedding record states his father as "Laurentius" as well as his origin "Kirchzarten", which was the parish, Zarten belonged to.[2]

The age on the indexed version of the burial record (54) is five years off from his actual age.[4] He would have been 49.

The wedding record of son Simon refers to him as Georg von Bank.[5]
