Biography

Mary Jane Diedrichs was born on October 23, 1877 in Hokitika, Westland District, West Coast, New Zealand, daughter of Henry Gerhard Diedrichs (~1833–1919) and Elizabeth Ellen Graham (~1851–1892).^[1]

Mary married Thomas Hutchison (born about 1875 in Kanieri, West Coast). Their daughter was Marie Iris Hutchison (~1896–1976).

Mary died on August 17, 1910 in Hokitika, aged 32. She was buried in Hokitika Municipal Cemetery, Hokitika, Westland District, West Coast.^{[2] [3]}
