She died on November 13, 1916, in Harvard, Massachusetts, unmarried.[2] Her death was mentioned in a Bethel, Maine newspaper:[3]
The remains of Amy E. P. Bean were brought to Bethel, Saturday morning from Harvard, Mass., for burial. Miss Bean was the daughter of the late Amasa and Sarah Twitchell Bean and was born in Bethel, Oct. 29, 1835. After a short service in the Congregational church, the interment was at Riverside cemetery.
She is buried in Riverside Cemetery, in Bethel, Maine.[4]
