Biography

Jesse Crumel is a part of US Black heritage.

Jessie was born in 1903. He was the son of William Crumel and Katie Ellis. In the 1910 census Jessie (age 6) was the son of Fate Cromble in Stantonsburg, Wilson, North Carolina, United States.^[1] In the 1920 census Jessie (age 16), Labor, was the single son of William Crumel Jr in Stantonsburg, Wilson, North Carolina.^[2]

Jessie died (age 76) on 12 September 1980 in Wilson, Wilson County, North Carolina.^[3]. He lived in Bailey, Nash, North Carolina.^[4] Funeral services were Thursday, 18 September 1980, at Elizabeth Baptist Church. He was buried in Middlesex Community Memorial Gardens.^[5]
