Captain Fisher was born in Ohio.

Charles was born about 1824, in Ohio. He was the son of Martin Fisher and Lovey Tunnell.

He married Harriet Adkins sometime before July 1850. <Exact date source not located yet. - Please provide if you can> After her death in 1869, he remarried again to Mary Francis Clift, on November 4, 1877, in Mason County, Kentucky.

He passed away January 12, 1880 in Cincinnati, Hamilton County, Ohio. He was buried in the Spring Grove Cemetery (Plot: Garden LN, Section 22, Lot 46, Space 6) located there.
