Biography
Alexander was born in 1796. He was the son of William McClure (1759-1823) and Agnes Nancy McKeehan (1756-1798).
He married Isabella Anderson (1799-1866) in 1820. They were the parents of the following children, per FS:
- Nancy McClure 1820-1822
- Margaret Anderson McClure 1823-1889
- Isabella McClure 1828-
- Alexander Kelly McClure 1829-1909
- Matilda McClure 1829-1922
- Isabella McClure 1831-1833
- Sarah Catherine McClure 1833-1929
- Samuel McClure 1837-
He passed away in 1852.
