Biography

Catherine Eliza “Kate” Minor was born 9 Sep 1842 at Thomaston, Litchfield County, Connecticut, USA, died there 14 Jul 1927, daughter of Burke Minor (1809–1882) and Eliza Turner Minor (1815–1895); unmarried; buried with her parents at Hillside Cemetery, Thomaston, Litchfield County, Connecticut, in the East Summit Section.

Kate Minor lived with her parents Burke Minor and Eliza (Turner) Minor her entire life, early on in Watertown, Connecticut (1850)^[1] but then permanently in Thomaston, CT by 1860. They Catherine was called "Katy" as a child, and later "Kate."
