Biography

Burton was born in 1880. He was the son of C.A. 'Neal' McCollum and Martha Catherine Kidwell. A notable Engineer, Inventor - Oil Industry, Geophysicist. ^[1][2][3] The University of Kansas Residence Hall "McCollum Hall" (1965-2015)^[4] was dedicated to brothers Dr. Burton & Dr. Elmer McCollum for their contributions to their respective fields.

Entombment was on July 22, 1964. He died in Herman Hospital, now "Memorial Hermann–Texas Medical Center" Home at death: 950 Kirby Drive, Houston. Social Security Number: 466-01-2766
