Nathan Eaton of Malden was a solider in the Revolutionary War serving as a Corporal in Capt. Benjamin Blaney's company, which marched on the alarm of April 19, 1775, to Watertown, by order of Col. Thomas Gardner, and as a Lieutenant in Capt. Nailer Hatch's company, Lieut. Col. William Bond's (late Gardner's) 37th regiment in 1775. ^{[1] [2] [3]}
