Joseph Standifer Lee, son of Joseph Weisiger Lee & Emma Jane Standifer, was born on 19 September 1894 in Fort Smith, Sebastian, Arkansas, United States.^[1].

His father, Joseph Weisiger Lee, passed away 2 Feb 1910 . "Joseph W. Lee - A highly respected farmer living on Little Rock Drive died Wednesday morning. Mr. Lee was fifty-seven of age. He leaves a widow and two small children. The deceased was the brother in law of the former County Treasurer Rhy. The funeral will be announced later today. ref: South West American" ^[3]
