Edward Joseph Bluett was born about 1908 at Gosport in Hampshire, son of a Royal Navy Chief Stoker, Edward Blewett, and his wife, Lucy Clifton. He had a sister, Irene Maud, who was two years older than he was. [1]
At Sheffield in Yorkshire in 1936 he married Irene May Macdonald. [2]
Edward was killed when his submarine "Unbeaten" was lost. [3]
