Biography
Stephen was born in 1741, the son of Israel Taft and Mercy Aldrich.
He married at least twice:
- Marcy Hazeltine married 14 Apr 1763 at Uxbridge, Massachusetts. There were no known children of this marriage.
- Anna Taft married 3 Jan 1766 at Mendon, Massachusetts. There were eleven known children of this marriage.
He passed away in 1803 and is buried at the Prospect Hill Cemetery in Uxbridge, Massachusetts.
