Birth

Captain Sylvanus Bourne ^A] was born in 1787. He was the third child and son of Melatia Bourne, Jr., and Olive (Gorham) Bourne.

Married First (1) Sally Stetson, ^[1] (or as Sylvester Bourne ^[2]) 4 Apr 1812 ^[3] or 19 Apr 1812 at Barnstable, Massachusetts. (she dies in January 1822 ^[4])
