William Ravenel is a part of US Black heritage.

William was born in 1862 in South Carolina. He was the son of Riseson? Ravenell. ^[1]

William was married to Minty Sweitzger. In 1900 and 1910 they were living in Amelia, South Carolina with two children.^[2][3]

In the 1950 census William was listed as widowed and living by himself in Amelia, South Carolina.^[4] He passed away in 1953.
