Biography
Prince Washington is a part of US Black heritage.
Prince was born around 1870 in Tennessee. According to census records his father was from Virginia and his mother from North Carolina.
Prince married Georgia Townsend around 1892. In 1900 they were living with 4 children in Shelby County, Tennessee. [1]
In 1920 he and Georgia were living with two of their adult daughters in Memphis, Tennessee. Prince's occupation in 1920 was listed as a carpenter.[2]
He passed away after 1930 when he and Georgia were living in Chicago, Illinois in the household of their daughter Minnie and her husband Eugene Hall.[3]
