Esco Sydney Daniels was born in Arkansas in 1765. He was the son of Doublehead Jack Tukaho Daniels and Sweet Light Nonhelema.
It started off in Cherokee County, Kentucky with 2 young Choctaw Indians named: Esco Sydney Daniels (1767-1832) and Sequoyah (Tuttle) Blue Lake (abt.1796-abt.1832).
Esco and Quoyah were working on their family farm in Kentucky and Esco was listed as a chief. Quoyah was said to be a beautiful woman with high cheekbones like her parents and grandparents.
Quoyah and Esco had five children:
1. Gertrude Sallie Daniels (1812-1845)
2. Macon Warren Daniels (1814-1859)
3. Gola Beatrix Daniels (1815-1832)
4. Samuel T Daniels (1818-1832)
5. Silas Eleazer Daniels (1822-1899)
6. Richard “Sanders” Allen Daniels (1830-1912)
The family tried to provide for their children the best they could. In 1832, a group of white men nailed shut the door of their house and burned it down. Esco had slept with a white woman and the home was burned down in retribution. Esco, Quoya and their children Gola and Samuel died in the fire. Luckily, Esco’s son Sanders Allen Williams was able to survive with minor burns to the face and hands and he was left bruised and had dark burned skin.

Esco Sydney Daniels was the third great-grandfather of "King of Pop" Michael Jackson.
