Biography
Brunah Allen is a part of US Black heritage.
Brunah Allen was born in 1909 in Louisiana, son of Dan Amos Allen and Ada Ford.
He married Luella Mack, daughter of Simmie Mack and Elizabeth Traylor.
In 1930 he was married and in Lincoln Parish. "Brunner" was age 21. Wife Luella was age 22. Children were John H age 3, daughter Lou W, age 1 and infant John S. Allen.[1]
In 1940 the family was in Ward 8 of Claiborne Parish. Bruno was age 31. Louella was age 32. Son John H was age 13. Daughter Louwillie was age 11. Son John S was age 10. Son David was age 8. Daughter Mamie Ree was age 5.[2]
Bruner Allen was farming in Claiborne Parish in 1950 at age 41. Wife Louella was age 43. Son David was age 17. Son John H. was ag 23 and married to wife Velma, age 21; they had children Lorenzo age 1 and James Edward, age 1 month.[3]
