Biography
Emily (Allhusen) Gibson was born in Newcastle Upon Tyne, Northumberland, England.
Emily Allhusen was born in 1837 and baptised on 3 Feb 1837 at St. Andrew, Newcastle-upon-Tyne, Northumberland, England. Her parents were Christian Augustus Henry Allhusen (1806-1890) and Ann (Shield) Allhusen (1813-abt.1889).[1]
Emily married Samuel Hall, son of Rev. Charles Hall of Terrington, Yorkshire, on 9 October 1860 at St James Church, Benwell, Newcastle upon Tyne. The marriage was registered in the 4th quarter of 1860 in the Newcastle upon Tyne district of Northumberland.[2] Emily petitioned for divorce from Samuel in 1863.[3]
Emily remarried to Marsden Gibson on 11 Jan 1872 at St. Paul, Elswick, Northumberland.[4][5]
Emily died on 13 Jan 1924 at age 87. Her death was registered in the 1st quarter of 1924 in the Knaresborough district of Yorkshire.[6] At the time of her death, she was living at Charlton Manor, Knaresborough.[7]
