Biography
Tommie Baker is a part of US Black heritage.
Son of Townes Baker and Zella Mae Nelson. He was their eldest child. He was born in Hughes, St. Francis, Arkansas.
In 1940 he was with his parents and infant brother Carvell Baker. Tommie was age 2, living in Shelby County, Tennessee.[1]
In 1950 he was living with his grandparents Sylvester and Willie Mae Nelson.
