Elizabeth was born in 1787. She is the daughter of Cornelius Brooks and Mary Hyndshaw.
Research Notes
Cornelius and Maria had twin girls, Elizabeth and Sarah. While the two girls were christened at the RDC in Smithfield, PA, it seems that they were born in Walpack Township, across the river in New Jersey, at least according to census records. The two counties of Pike in PA and Sussex in NJ abut at the Delaware River.
