Biography

Adam Shoun was born in 1822 in Tennessee. He was the son of Isaac C. Shoun (abt.1798-1845) and Katherine Mary Wills (1807-1833).

Adam married Martha A. Irvin in Washington County, Tennessee on 21 February 1850.^[1]

In 1850, Adam and Martha were residing in Washington County, Tennessee.^[2]

In 1860, Adam, Martha, and their three children, Mary, William, and Rebecca, resided in Washington County, Tennessee.^[3]

Adam passed away in 1908. He was buried at Isaac Shoun Cemetery, Mountain City, Johnson County, Tennessee.
