Biography
Robert Kamphefner is a part of US Black heritage.

Robert Eugene Kamphefner was born on December 29, 1929 in Platte City, Platte, Missouri, United States. He was the son of Ray Kamphefner and Bettie Seull (Sewell?).[1]
He graduated from LaSalle Institute in Glencoe, Missouri and entered the De La Salle Christian Brotherhood as a novitiate.[1]
On April 1, 1950, Robert, age 20, was a never married student brother in Winona, Winona, Minnesota.[2]
He pronounced his final vows in 1955 in Winona, Winona County, Minnesota and earned a M.A. degree from St. Mary's college (now University) at Winona, Winona County, Minnesota in 1960.[1]
He was an educator and taught in Evanston, Chicago, Quincy and Wheaton, Illinois; Wichita, Kansas; Kansas City and Cedar Hill, Missouri. He taught at St. Joseph High School in Greenville, Mississippi as well as St. Gabriel School in Mound Bayou.[1]
He became the lay ecclesiastical minister of St. Gabriel church in 1993.
Humphrey died on October 8, 2012 at the Methodist Hospital in Germantown, Tennessee. and was buried in Saint Gabriel Cemetery in Mound Bayou, Bolivar, Mississippi.[3]
HIs obituary was published on October 11, 2012 in The Bolivar Commercial (Cleveland, Mississippi). He was survived by his brother.[1]
