Abubakar Balewa is Notable.
Sir Abubakar Tafawa Balewa was a Nigerian politician who served as the first and only prime minister of Nigeria upon independence. He was murdered during a government overthrow.
Abubakar was born in December 1912 in the village of Tafawa Balewa in Bauchi, Nigeria. He was his father's only child.
