Nathaniel McDanel was born on April 27, 1829 in Beaver, Pennsylvania, United States, son of Abraham McDanel (1802–1853) and Huldah Hazen (1794–1834).
He married Louisa Keller on 3 Mar 1854 in Ashland, Ohio, United States.[1]
In the 1860 census he (age 32) was in Chariton Township, Appanoose, Iowa, United States.[2]
