Biography
Chris was born in 1933, and died in 2019[1]. Her obituary[2] notes:
Jacqueline Christine Steffen, most commonly known as Chris Steffen, long time resident High Level (AB), passed away at home on Friday, September 6, 2019. She was 86 years and 7 days old. She was born in Berwyn (AB), to John & Grace Olson.
She is predeceased by her husband Frank (2003); sister Norma; brother Donny. Chris is lovingly remembered by her children Bruce of High Level, Gerald (Linda) of Beaver Ranch (AB), Terrie of High Level, Wanda (Ernie) Keleman of Spruce Grove (AB), Rodney (Peggy) of High Level; 8 grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; sister Nancy of Port Alberni (BC). In honour of her wishes, burial of her cremated remains at W.I. Cemetery at Grimshaw (AB) will take place, within a private family interment.
