Jeanne "Jane" Francois was born in 1888. She was the daughter of Theophile Francois and Aurelia Sonnier. ^[1]

She married Alcee Fontenot on 14 October 1907 in Eunice, Louisiana. ^{[2] [3]}

She died in 1922 and was buried in the Saint Paul Cemetery in Eunice, St. Landry Parish, Louisiana. ^[4]
