Louis Kissinger was born on 2 Feb 1887[1] in Ermershausen, Bayern to parents David Kissinger (1860-1947) and Celine Karoline Zeilberger (1863-1906).
Louis married Paula Stern and they had two sons:
The family emigrated to the United States to escape Nazi persecution in 1938.
In 1940, Louis was aged 53, from Fürth, Germany, married, and living in apartments at 728-736 W 181st St, Manhattan, New York with his wife Paula (aged 39, from Germany) and their sons Henry (15, Germany) and Walter Kissinger (15, Germany). They also shared the residence with Alfred (21, Germany) and Werner Rose (20, Germany).[2]
In 1950 (10 Apr enumeration of census), Louis was aged 63, from Germany, married, a bookkeeper at Nuvacor Power/Powder, and was living in ED 31-2224 in Manhattan, New York with his wife Paula (49, Germany) and their son Henry A Kissinger (26).[3]
Louis passed away on 14 Mar 1982 in Manhattan, New York.[1] It is unclear if or where he was buried.[4]
