Biography
Ada Alice was born in 1810, in Kentucky. She was the daughter of Samuel McClure and Sarah Harper.
On 15 Sep 1831, in Tennessee, she married Willian Alexander Faires (1806-1885). They initially settled in Tennessee, but by 1837 had moved to Fayette, Texas where most of her family was. They had 6 known children.

She passed away in 1874 and was buried at the Old Plum Grove Cemetery. [2] Ada was mentioned on a memorial in Old Plum Grove Cemetery, West Point, Fayette County, Texas, United States with a death date of 19 May 1874[3]
