Liz (21) married Jean Alfred Malenfant (27) (born on May 7, 1926 in Dieppe, Westmorland, New Brunswick; son of Joseph Ferdinand Malenfant and Annie Downing) on 24 July 1954 in Dieppe, New Brunswick. [1]

Liz died on May 5, 2016 in Moncton, Westmorland County, New Brunswick, aged 83.[2]


Obituary

Elizabeth Malenfant, 83, of Dieppe, NB, passed away on Thursday, May 5th, 2016, at the Moncton Hospital, Moncton, NB.

Born in Grande-Digue, NB, she was the daughter of the late André and the late Marguerite (née: Lavoie) Hébert.

She was a devoted mother.

She is survived by six sons: Armand, Ronald, Clarence (Frances), Raymond (Alfreda), Ferdinand and André (Lori); two sisters: Victoria (Alfred) Cormier and Rolande (Normand) Roy; as well as several grandchildren, great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.

Besides her parents, she was predeceased by her husband John in 1996 and two brothers: Roland and Leonard.

Visitation will be held from the Chartersville Funeral Home, 363 Amirault Street, Dieppe, NB (857-1901) on Wednesday from 2 to 4 pm and 7 to 9 pm and Thursday 10 am until time of departure.

Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated from the Sainte-Thérèse Roman Catholic Church, Dieppe, on Thursday May 12th, 2016 at 11:00 am.

Internment in N.-D. du Calvaire Cemetery, Dieppe, NB.
