Biography
John Yeamans was the son of Henry Yeamans (abt.1670-) and Mary (Shute) Yeamans (abt.1669-), a grandson of John Yeamans b.c.1640 England. He was born 1695 in Antigua, West Indies.
Marriage
John married Elizabeth (Shrimpton) Yeamans (1702-abt.1757) about 1720 in Boston, Massachusetts. [1]

Life Story
John was a merchant, eventually becoming Lieutenant Governor of Antigua from 1738 to 1742. [3]
He was in Boston, Massachusetts as early as 1720.
Death
His will dated Feb 1747, proved 27 Jun 1750
