Biography
Susannah Sweeting was born to Henry and Esther Sweeting on June 22, 1709, in Rehoboth, Mass.[1]
The family moved across the Seekonk River into Providence sometime between 1720 and 1727. She married Stephen Wright in Providence on Nov. 12, 1738.[2] They had at least six children: Amey (born in 1739), Stephen (1741), Esther (1742), William (1745), Susannah (1747), and Mary (1748).[3]
I’ve found no record of Stephen or Susannah’s deaths. Susannah was mentioned in her father’s will, which was signed when she was 44 years old on July 14, 1753. So she lived at least until then.[4]
