Mrs. Michael Lucas
Mrs. Mary Lucas (Lukocovsky), 84, of 136 Peace Street, Stratford, widow of Michael Lucas, died yesterday in Bridgeport hospital she was admitted Monday as a medical patient.
Services will take place Saturday at 9:15 a.m. in the Charles T. Pistey funeral home, 255 Barnum Avenue, and at 10 o'clock in Sts. Cyril Methodius church with a solemn requiem Mass. Burial will be in Michael's cemetery.
A native of Austria, Mrs. Lucas resided in Bridgeport about 50 years, moving to Stratford three years ago to live with a son, Stephen Lucas. She was a member of the Greek Catholic Union of U.S.A.
Mrs. Lucas is survived by two other sons, Michael and Joseph Lucas, both of Bridgeport; two daughters, Mrs. Catherine Blaner of Bridgeport and Miss May Lucas of Long Island; a sister, Mrs. Elizabeth Burcin of Hazelton, Pa.; 17 grandchildren and 11 great- grandchildren.
